Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms govern your use of boon.ink (the public site and early-access waitlist) and app.boon.ink (the Boon product, together "Boon"), operated by Brainy Circles OÜ, a company registered in the Republic of Estonia. By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or otherwise using Boon, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Boon.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Boon. By joining the waitlist or creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. The Waitlist

Submitting your email on boon.ink reserves a spot on the early-access waitlist. It is not a purchase and creates no payment obligation. We open seats in waves at our own discretion; joining the waitlist does not guarantee access by any particular date. You may leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us.

4. Accounts

• When your seat opens, you register an app.boon.ink account with an email address and password.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• One person, one account.
• Notify us immediately at ron@brainycircles.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. The Service

Boon suggests, pairs, and surfaces licensing information for typefaces based on the briefs you type, drawing on a catalog aggregated from Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, Envato, and independent foundries. Boon is a discovery and recommendation tool. Replies, suggestions, and pairings are generated automatically, including by AI language models, and may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Boon's output is not professional design, legal, or licensing advice; use your own judgment before shipping anything based on it.

6. Font Licensing

Boon surfaces licensing information (for example, whether a typeface is free to use, requires a commercial license, or comes from a specific marketplace) as a convenience and to the best of its knowledge. Boon does not itself sell, issue, or warrant any font license. Any license for a typeface is a matter between you and the original foundry, distributor, or platform (such as Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, or Envato Elements), governed entirely by that party's own license terms. You are solely responsible for confirming the applicable license and obtaining any rights you need before commercial use. Brainy Circles OÜ disclaims liability for licensing information that is out of date or inaccurate; always confirm directly with the original source before shipping.

7. Acceptable Use

• Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract Boon's catalog, suggestions, or underlying models beyond personal use.
• Do not create multiple waitlist entries or accounts to abuse invite ordering or platform mechanics.
• Do not attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
• Do not submit content to Boon's chat that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not use Boon for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, with or without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

Boon's brand, product, catalog structure, ranking technology, and site content belong to Brainy Circles OÜ. The typefaces indexed by Boon remain the property of their respective foundries and rights holders; nothing in these terms grants you any rights to a typeface beyond what its own license permits.

9. Feedback

If you send us feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you grant Brainy Circles OÜ a royalty-free, worldwide right to use them to improve Boon, without any obligation to compensate you.

10. Termination

We may remove your waitlist entry or suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for protective reasons (legal, security, fraud), with or without notice. You may request deletion of your waitlist entry or account at any time by contacting us.

11. Disclaimers

Boon is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that suggestions or licensing information will be accurate or complete, or that any particular waitlist timeline will be honored.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brainy Circles OÜ, its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of Boon. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or Boon shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 100.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer protection law and liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as Boon changes. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the new terms, you may stop using Boon and request deletion of your data before they take effect.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia. Nothing in this section deprives EU consumers of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of their country of residence.
